Bringing POC™ to your Organization
By investing in the growth and development of your
internal resources you not only increase your organization's
capability and productivity but also reduce the need
for external resources.
There are a number of ways you can bring POC™ to your organization.- You can sponsor an internal community which is the ideal way to build a critical mass of skilled practitioners on your “home team”.
- You can partner with other local organizations to sponsor a learning group as part of a multi-organizational community
- You can join a Public POC™ which includes participants from several organizations. Converge is offering a new Public community January 2007.
Evaluating the Return on Your Investment
In a time where most organizations are balancing limited resources with a need for increased focus on skill building, Converge Consulting Group has designed advanced metrics to measure the impact of POC™ at both the individual and organizational level to measure your return on investment.
Participants rate their Competencies before and then after the Practitioner of Change™ process. The results are provided confidentially to each participant and are also summarized at a group level for the sponsors to show the overall shift in knowledge and skill development before and after the POC™ investment.
In addition, participants evaluate each workshop session to provide on-going feedback that is integrated throughout their learning process as well as post graduation. The consolidated summary reports are posted in the POC™ on-line community for both sponsors and participants to access. Converge is committed to providing comprehensive feedback to both the individual participants and sponsor organizations. Our custom designed metrics show the impact and the value of POC™ in real data.
Why Should an Organization Sponsor POC™?
- External environments continue to demand a strategic
focus and the ability to accelerate organization response
and flexibility…more than ever.
- Organizations are “systems” Sand require
an integrated response to develop.
- We know we need people behind strategies…people
implement decisions, not organizations.
- Organizational complexity is generating even more
conflict than what has always existed.
- Leadership mindset is causative – organizations
change when leaders change.
- In order to change, learning must happen individually
and organizationally.
Who Should Attend POC™?
The POC™ program is designed for employees who
work closely with clients and who are looked on to provide
strategic direction and support to their respective
businesses. It will also appeal to those who are aspiring
to these roles. Additionally, part or the entire process
may be applicable to employees in related roles such
as employee Human Resources, Communications, and Organization
Development.
